If camping or caravanning is your thing, why not try one of the two campsites that are run by volunteers only for the duration of the Convention weeks.

Action Partners Camp
Based on a local farm within close walking distance of the Convention Centre and Main Tent, you won’t need your car once you’re here. This camp is fully inclusive – all meals provided – you can either bring your own tent or pay more and hire one on site. Meals are together in a marquee and trips and outdoor activities are also offered. Book as soon as you can!

(NB. Only run for three weeks of Convention)

Crosthwaite Campsite
This is a family orientated camp situated near the Rawnsley site where the Children and Youth programmes are run. You need to bring your own tent or caravan - washrooms/WCs are provided on site and shower facilities are available at the nearby school. The campsite operates on a first come first served basis and bookings do tend to be brisk! Crosthwaite is a wonderful campsite with a mixture of regulars and newcomers. Evening cocoa and worship in the communal tent is a great favourite with all! Booking forms are available from January.

If being under canvas doesn’t appeal to you then the Keswick Youth Hostel is another option. Again in a great location for walking to the Convention sites, meals are available in their restaurant or you can use the self-catering kitchen facilities.
